So, I recently made a post about my Final Fantasy 14 no longer working.
I couldn't REPURCHASE it because it was telling me I already owned 'Standard Edition'. So after a chat with costumer service and multiiple users on the forums, a solution was found. For those having the problem, if you did the FREE PS3-PS4 upgrade like I did, you need that REDEEM CODE. I had a reciept from JAN 2015 showing when I did it and it ended up SAVING ME from buying it again. I entered the code in back then but for some reason the PLAYSTATION STORE recently had DROPPED that I ever did. Now I am an avid YOUTUBER and I have videos of me streaming it from my PS4 from last month. According to customer service I refunded my game in AUG of 2015... which isn't true because I accidently made a 2nd puchase of the game like many other people due to the expansion 'HEAVENSWARD' being labeled wrong on the STORE. Once again, see forums for other people who had the same issue. The costumer service rep DEMANDED that I didn't own the game and refunded it and NEVER owned the game and needed to purchase it AGAIN. I made it clear that the PLAYSTATION STORE was showing that I couldn't PURCHASE the game again because it was telling me I already OWNED IT like I knew I did. I also made it clear that I had made videos and SCREEN shots of such and I could easily show them what I was seeing on my screen. I also repeated MANY TIMES what was showing on my screen the 'You already own Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn Standard Edition' Costumer Service rep still demanded that I NEVER owned the game and I needed to PURCHASE it unless I had a 'Transaction ID' because it was showing on their end that there never was one. Now I recently cleaned my e-mail out and thankfully I found where the FINAL FANTASY 'MOG STATION' had sent the REDEEM CODE TO ME. At this time I was already frustrated with the Customer Service Rep because he/she/it was demanding that I never owned the game. So I posted the REDEEM code and according them them I 'NEVER REDEEMED IT'.. I orginally had the game on PS3 prior to 'The playstion Store' purchase and I stil have the DISK but I can no longer use it in my PS3 because I did the UPGRADE and MOGNET shows as such and it wouldn't SHOW IT until the UPGRADE to PS4 was completed. So, I have 4 issues.. 1. Constumer Service not willing to hear out their people. 2. A Playstation STORE issue that multiple people are having right now since last update 3. A code REDEEMED over a YEAR ago Suddenly OPEN again due to an ERROR in the PLAYSTATION STORE 4. Being DEMANDED to REPURCHASE A GAME that a costumer already owns and the STORE is saying they OWN and won't let them redownload So Sony, get your people to listen to their costumers and REALIZE that this is a PROBLEM people are having. If I didn't play this game at least once every other week I wouldn't of seen this issue. You most likely have people who haven't played the game in a few months who will come back to this issue and will be treated the same way!
